I wish I could do more of it. It sounds like you have a blast! Congratulations on getting back into WW! I started Tuesday and love the point system so far! It is so easy. But my exercise has been another story. I have only worked out three times this week, each time doing a basic workout. I am pretty hard on myself if I don't do the advanced... Anyway, I am so glad that you are back and that you had such a good time!
Guest guest
Well, I must admit, I haven't read any of the old posts that were posted since I've been gone because I simply don't know where to start, so I'm just going to start after this post. If there is anything that I missed that you think I should know about, please drop me an e-mail (Susifloozi AT aol.com). The Weight Watchers at Work program started at my company today, so I have started again! We'll see how it goes. I haven't done Tae-Bo in awhile, and I haven't even really got to take a look at all the workouts with everyone in them. I've looked a little bit, but will hopefully do so this weekend. So far, everybody looks fabulous, but I'm sure you've all heard that already this past week. It never hurts to hear it again, though, does it? LOL My vacation was really fun, but I have really missed everybody here. It was wonderful seeing my mom and dad, and everybody at work loves my Bo braids! LOL I got a lot of attention from men in San and St. , so that made me feel good. Unfortunately, I also got my pictures back from the trip, and the only one that has me in it is very depressing. St. is fascinating. We went to a couple of different beaches while I was there, which I enjoyed thoroughly. I actually SANG when we went to karaoke. This is huge for me because I get so nervous singing solo. I figured that was the best time to do it since I wouldn't see anybody there again (except my parents and they love me no matter what). I have never done it before, but I did it! Maybe the next time we all go to a taping, we can go out to a karaoke bar, and I can try it again with the love and support of my friends. The culture is very different than what I am used to. I loved everything about it except all the dogs barking and roosters doing whatever it is they do all night long. San was wonderful. On the way down, I stayed in a resort hotel right on the beach, and on the way back, I stayed in Old San in a hotel that was built in the 1400s. Both places were so different, but both exquisite. Each had a special flavor of their own. I did a fair amount of shopping there (YIKES). I bought a watch for myself...it's not the original one I wanted, but it looks a lot like it and it was roughly $250 cheaper, which works for me. I've learned that I really love to travel to places and explore them. I want to do so much more of it, but I just have to figure out how. It makes me very happy. However, it also makes it difficult when I get home. Guess that's just another area where I need to find balance! That's it for now! Guest guest
The balance will come Susi - really, it will. You mean there is more to see outside the midwest????? LOL I shouldn't complain - at least I have been to the west coast. It could be worse, I could have just been born, raised and died in North Dakota! OOPS! I will have been those three things (more then likely). If travel isn't in my near future, I hope to goodness it is in our retirement years. Notice I say " travel " not moving. LOL I don't want to move to see places anymore - I want the airplane, motel, and vacation days not the finding a place to live; cable, phone, utility hook-ups; new address. Glad your back safe and sound Susi!

I really missed you while you were gone Karaoke sounds like so much fun....we'll definitely have to do that next time we're in LA! I love to karaoke and I can't sing at all....so you'll just have to let me go first so you won't be nervous....LOL! I know exactly what you mean about loving to travel! I love taking roadtrips....some of my best memories are of trips I have taken with my friends or even by myself! It's always so much fun to go to a new place and explore! I also know what you mean about coming home! Every time I come back from visiting my aunt (which I'm going to do in a few hours) it's always an adjustment to be home! Good luck with WW and starting over again....just take it one day at a time.....you can do it Well, I've got to go get the last of my stuff together! I'll be at my aunt's until Memorial Day, but I'll have my laptop so should be able to keep in touch!
Guest guest
Susi, It sounds like you had a great adventure and a nice break. I love traveling and I find I'm much braver when I'm off somewhere too. I guess I feel more free to be my true self without people and places around me that are so familiar. It's a wonderful feeling and I'm so happy that you sang!!! It sounds like you had a great time. Now you make me want to go to the islands. You are a good travel writer. I know you have beautiful voice from hearing you sing in the car in LA. If I had a voice like that (which I definitely don't), I sing too, even karaoke. Elena
