Guest guest
Hi, We have an 8 year old intermediate learner who has a lot of RFFcs as well as intraverbals. However her intraverbal repertoire needs improved and we need to get organized so we can check for maintenance at regular intervals. 1. As the child progresses in her intraverbal skills do you drop off doing fill ins for every intraverbal or do you continue to do it? 2. I try to come up with fill ins for the 'Wh' questions and sometimes I end up with strange sentences - Ex: What is the color of an apple? becomes 'The color of an apple is ____. My team feels this is not typical child language and is not necessary especially when the child can master the corresponding 'Wh' question way before she can master this type of fill in. 3 My daughter can answer many Wh questions but cannot answer SOME of these if we change them into fill ins because we just didn't teach her. Do we need to go back and teach her these. Thank you, Mahija
