Guest guest
I'm new to this type of diet... really just getting into it over the last couple of months. Â I have a 16 month old daughter who is lately a VERY picky eater. Â The only veggie she will eat is sweet peas. Â She will eat fruit (or anything sugary really- but we try to stick to fruit for the most part) and is obsessed with cheese and yogurt. Â Meat... lately she will not eat. Â She does eat scrambled eggs for breakfast most days. Â Does anyone have any pointers on what I can do to help her get the most nutrition? Â I feel like she is not getting a very well balanced diet these days. Â Example... tonight for dinner was shredded cheese and a bit of the egg of my omlet... and a couple bean sprouts. Â Mostly shredded cheese though. Â Thank you!
Guest guest
Hi, I don't think your toddler has terrible eating habits, it sounds like she eats a lot of good foods. You said: " I have a 16 month old daughter who is lately a VERY picky eater. The only veggie she will eat is sweet peas. My child didn't like meat at all, and lots of parents said their kids didn't like it either-- now she is nearly a teen and eats many more foods and meats, too. Just keep trying different vegs, foods of all kinds, and I think she'll be fine. I've never forced food issues, so it stayed pleasant, but I did encourage her to try a bite of many things when she was older. I just think that our tastes develop with exposure, and that's what I was looking for in requiring " tastes " of foods. Enjoy! Gail Von Bargen **************Gas prices getting you down?
