Tampa Bay Therapist available

I am currently working privately with a family in Tampa and will be available

to provide therapy hours in the Tampa Bay area starting mid June 2004.

I have been working with this same family for 3 years while taking classes to

complete my BS in Special Education. I have provided in-home education for their

now 7 1/2 year old son. I focus mainly on academic with this child using many

different types of therapies. I am well versed in ABA, VBA, DTT, NET, Kauffman

Apraxic Approach, Direct Instruction, Rapid Prompt method (which is on a huge

rise in the Tampa area), general academic support, as well as the many other

creative ways of teaching.

I have also had many other private clients and have prior experience in a

private school as a lead teacher based in Springfield, VA, providing one-on-one

ABA therapy to children on the Autism spectrum. I have served as a long-term

substitute teacher for the Hillsborough County School system for children with

Autism and other special needs. In all, I have close to 8 years of teaching

experience and would appreciate the opportunity to grow within your foundation

and to support the special needs community.
