Hi Kat

Jazzercise is dance fitness. I like dancing so find it very enjoyable, each

class consists of an aerobic segment (45 mins) and a muscle toning (15mins).

There is specific choreography to each song and the instructors choose which

songs to teach (from 5 sets a year) it got a good curve with warm-up and

increasing intensity to the middle then calming down to a cool down stretch

descend, then the toning section is often floor work, with weights optional,

then the finale routine.

There are other formats too, that's just the regular Jazzercise.

The choreography can be quite challenging at times and it can be as high or

low impact as you want to make it. I've been going for about 4 years now

and still love it, I know the routines are safe (they get thoroughly checked

out before being released) and liking the music makes the time fly by.

If you would like to try it check out the website at

http://www.jazzercise.com/

(or http://www.jazzercise.co.uk/ for UK)

there's often new student offer coupons available, and I'd also recommend

give it at least 4 classes before deciding, it can take a little getting

used to.

who thinks that TaeBo and Jazzercise compliment each other, and hopes I'll

still be doing both when TaeBo is over 30 years old like Jazzercise is now!

Jill,

What's Jazzercise like? It's to music, right?

Thanks,

Kat
