Guest guest
My son has Aspergers. He has a history of singing, humming, whistling and pacing. These are all repeated patterns of behavior for him. On Friday he was sent to the office because he could not find a packet needed for Science (a whole other issue). While in the office they kept him and made him do work. He was working and singing. I irritated the office staff...so the vice principal decided to put him in ISS. In parenthesis they tried to add in that he had many tardy referrals but this was an obvious after thought. While in ISS...the teacher told him " put your hand down, students in ISS are not respectable " .
