need help increasing mands in the NET

I am writing for advice on how to increase manding in the NET. I

work with a 14 year old boy who does mand for desireable items and

activities but does so very minimally. In this case, the student is

mostly reinforced by playing independently and reading

independently. Does anyone have suggestions on how myself and the

rest of his team (including his parents)can motivate this student to

enjoy more interactive activities. I've had some success with

activities such as pillow fights and water ballon fights in order to

increase manding but his parents are having a hard time finding ways

to increase his manding when his therapy sessions are over. He is 14

so he can access most primary reinforcers on his own and therefore

rarely mands for them. Any suggestions would really help. He

definitely has the potential to become a more successful communicator

but we are just really having a hard time finding his motivation.
