Hi, listers:

Is there a document that shows the appropriate number of hours needed in

order to train new tutors who will be working with our children?

I always have new tutors do overlap training with my son's current tutors in

order to gain the necessary skills, knowledge, compliance, etc of my son prior

to allowing them to work with him independently. (We are a workshop family

so I hire and train all staff with our program supervisor overseeing all of

this). I typically have them overlap about 100 hours.

I need this document to prove to the school district that this type of

intensive training is not only appropriate but necessary.

If there is such a document, please let me know the name, a link to it,

something so that I can access it.
