Guest guest
Lately I have been noticing that if I have to cough or if I laugh to hard, I get a choking sensation. Today it feels like I'm wearing a turtleneck, but I'm not. When I feel the area where my thyroid is, it is a little tender. Could this be a goiter developing? My glands are not swollen and I am not getting sick. Everything I have research suggests hyperthyroidism, but I am having more hypo symptoms lately. I have never had an ultrasound or scan, but I have been told by a previous doctor after a physical exam that I had an enlarged thyroid (this was also the endo that told me I was fine and to come back in 20 years when my thyroid " crapped out " ). -
