Caffrey, M. Ed., completed an undergraduate degree in Education from Arizona State University and a Masters degree in Education from Georgian Court College, where he was awarded the Project of Distinction for his work on training paraprofessionals to work with children with autism. In addition, he completed graduate course work in behavior analysis from Penn State University and is now finishing the requirements leading to certification as a behavior analyst. Mr. Caffrey co-authored with Dr. J. Carbone an 8 hour professional development training CD series The Verbal Behavior Approach to Teaching Children with Autism. He also developed and maintains the Verbal Behavior Network (), and Parents of Children with Autism () both collaborative web-based solutions he designed to assist professionals and workshops to treatment teams who serve children with autism with special emphasis on development/implementation of strategies to promote verbal vocal language development and managing problem behavior in classroom settings.
