Guest guest Posted January 31, 1999 Report Share Posted January 31, 1999 im a fairly new nurse.......graduated in 95 with an a.a.s. in nursing...local community college...worked full time and went to school at nite for years!!!!! with a little one at home......I work in a mother-baby unit..........my first nursing job.......long story.....persistence, and a good rep in the hospital that i worked in and that paid for my education got me in.......of course on the nite shift or as we dubbed ourselves " the ladies of the nite " LOL! anyway........we are presently cross training for ldrp...with a new unit being built with our new building as we speak.......its very exciting and frightening all at the same time...............if you ask most people i have the natural skill's and ability's that make a perfect nurse...............most obvious is i lack experience......only working for almost three years and get scared that i might not measure up when it is my turn to cross train due to my limited experience.........any advice out there for me? words of wisdom? thanks..........sue OBnursesonelist wrote: > Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
