Problem with repeating the response

Hi! I know a family who has just started teaching

her child at the table with fast pace errorless

teaching methods as introduced by Carbone's workshops.

She has a problem though, her child repeats all the

verbal answers twice. So if she's teaching a tact,

the kid would say the answer twice though she

prompts it only once. For example

SD:What is this? ball

R: ball, ball

Did anyone of you have the same problem?

My friend tries a lot of things but she seems to be

out of ideas. Any thoughts on this matter will be

helpful, Thanks.
