Guest guest
I have been searching but have not been able to figure out at what age is transition planning supposed to start. I thought it was 14 but then I thought I read somewhere that it had changed last year to 16. If anyone can please answer this I would really appreciate it. I have a 14 year old who will be 15 in August with no tranisition plan in place. The annual ARD is on the 14th and I need to find out if I need to ask about his transition plan. He is currently classified as a sophmore but is doing half sophmore and half junior courses. So I guess next year he will be junior but doing alot of senior work for his core subjects. He has never been to one of his ARD meetings that is another of the things I'm wondering should he be attending the ARD. Any input woud be greatly appreciated.
