Hello group,

I have a very challenging case. This woman is 34 with severe exhaustion X 3 years. The MD's have done a test for addison's and she doesn't have it(Also she has had many test otherwise to locate the problem). However, when she taken prednisone, she feels like her teenage self again, 8 hours of sleep and energy all day.. She has done this twice. Once for an allergic reaction and then did a 'retry' challenge and same results.

She has a workaholic history and a high stress childhood. She will do very distructive things like get a breath of energy and work the entire day at shoveling dirt all over her garden. I have had a lenghty discussion concerning activity reality. Her symptoms now are "they say I am allergic to everything" through allergy testing with the MDs. She really rarely has a reaction to anything as she is so exhausted now. All she can do is sleep, often 18 hours a day, sometimes she is awake about 3 hours on the weekends when her husband is home with the 2 kids. One child is still home during the day at age 4. All this severe fatigue did start after childbirth.but careful histories shows it was coming on before.

I have finally forced her to have a natural foods diet (fruits, veggies, beans, legumes, rice and broiled protien) with no refined foods, soda, juices or spice mixes. This has been for a month now. Of course the progress is very slow-she doesn't see a difference. I am giving her adrenal glandular TID. I have given her homeopathic adrenalinum and nothing.

I am about to start 1 drop of UNDA if we can decide what might be the best choices.

Yesterday I gave her Nux M which is well indicated because she finally told me she has a lifelong history of constipation with no urging. That she has to manually extract her stool often and then during her periods she has diarrhea. One would think I could have gotten this information before but it is amazing what patients forget, don't think it matters, or are too embarassed to tell you.

Your thoughts are most welsome here.
