Guest guest
> ... I was wondering wether someone could explain to me how this list > works and what it > the difference between Loving-What-Is and doing-the-work. Doing-the-work tends to be more about actually posting work pieces and sharing feedback on them. Loving-what-is includes this and also carries quite a bit of philosophizing and discussion. The moderators on doing-the-work are a bit more aggressive about encouraging participants to stay on topic (actually doing The Work) while Loving-what-is is less heavily moderated. That's my perception of the two. > Thank you a lot. You're welcome. Tom
Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I recently joined the group and have just been reading the posts and learning. My son was diagnosed in 2002, the doctors pretty much just said that there was nothing they could do and sent us home. My son is on the mild side of the spectrum so through the years we have done some research and tried what we could and he seemed to be doing pretty good. He is mainstreamed at school and until this year has done ok, not great but ok. He has hit puberty and we are having all kinds of problems. I am so discouraged, I have contacted the doctor that diagnosed him and she is suppose to be getting some therapist referrals for us but I haven't heard anything yet. He is having extreme emotional out bursts at school and I don't know where to turn. Not to try to cover too many topics in one post but is anyone else out there upset about the changes in the modified TAKS test that they implemented this year? Thanks for Listening, H. Guest guest
Hi Welcome back! I knew that there was no chance of me ever getting used to this cold - I never get warm, so I was sure I was going to be cold like this for evermore. As for surgeons - a few on here have had the slicing and I am sure they will post about their results and options. I would love to be at that stage, and I am thinking that next year I will have a TT and arm lift - the two key areas that I really have issues with. Let us know how you get on - its always great to keep these things in the back of the mind for when it becomes applicable. And huge congratulations for your weight loss so far and continued success!
