Guest guest
Hello, all! I'm a new doc (x3 weeks in practice)!! I've been reading all of your posts for over a year and would appreciate some of your expertise and guidance... A 2-1/2 yo patient has been exposed to his daycare provider (5d/ week, 8 hr/d) and the day care provider was just hospitalized with active TB. My 2 yo pt is being 'tested' (skin test, I think) tomorrow to see if he's (+) and then they'd go to CXR. Currently, he is experiencing no sxs. A few questions: 1. If he's positive, and has to go on Abx x 6mos, besides BTG's, what can I do homeopathically (Tuberculinum, maybe) to support? 2. If he tests (-), should I do immune support anyway, presumptively?? Thank you, all! Leigh Leigh H. White, ND Natural Family Health, LLC 410 State Street North Haven, CT 06473
