Guest guest
I did it. I finished a 21 day challenge! I had to resort to the 8-minute tape twice, but at least I did something each day. I rewarded myself by getting a massage. I didn't shed any pounds or change my bodyfat composition (I have a scale that does both), but I feel better and I think my double chin is less pronounced. I have discovered that I can't look at this with wuch a long view - like " Look where I coculd be if I stuck with this for a year " . I find that too overwhelming. I have decided that there are only two days that I need to be concerned with working out - Today and Tomorrow. If I can get my workout in today and plan for when I'm going to do it tomorrow, then I am more likely to stick with it. I suspect I'm going to be a slow popper (see Taebogeezers essay and how we are like popcorn), so I've got to just relish the small achievements. I don't post often, but I do read everyday - thank you everyone for all of your help, advice and constant encouragement. I am in Atlanta and would love to find a workout partner in the area, but if you are passing through that would be OK too. in GA
