Hi group -

I have a patient who is 15-weeks pregnant and looking for an alternative to the flu vaccine. In addition to BTGs, I thought Mucoccinum would be a good idea, but Seroyal info says it in contraindicated in pregnancy - anyone know why? And does anyone have some good recommendations that are considered "safe" for pregant women during cold/flu season?

Thanks,

I'm not sure if this is the reason they would say it's contraindicated, but Dr. Gueniot teaches that it is unsafe to give a nosode or homeopathic preparation of a microorganism if the patient has not yet been exposed to it. (I'm thinking here not of the Mom's exposure, but the unborn child).
