I have PG Offline, it's worked out great for me, it's main

purpose is to allow you to download a group (or multiple ones)

and have the messages on your harddrive, for review (and reply)

at your leisure. I hadn't used any other function so I looked up

export in it and found it will export archives, but it

does so in a (Microsoft Office) Access (database) format.

They have a 30 day full version trial if you want to test drive it.
