chronic vaginitis and Copper T IUD

Hi All,

Seeing a 25 yo female with a hx of chronic vaginitis ever since she had the

copper T IUD put

in. She has experienced some relief with one yr of BTG's , COP's , drainage but

the vaginitis

continues, worse during the second half of her cycle and some resolution with

her period.

She also complains of vaginal dryness during intercourse and has low libido.

These also

occurred with insertion of IUD. She is considering removal of IUD, wondered

about others

experience with this. Is this common?
