Guest guest
I have a 3 & 1/2 year old boy who was just diagnosed with mild autism. I have been going out of my mind trying to figure out the best therapies for him. We are of course doing speech but I would like to hear from some other parents on what they have tried and their experiences. We are trying to decide if we should send him to a school that would be a one stop shop. My concern is how much 1:1 he would get. The classes are very small. They do floortime, RDI, sensory integration, music therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy. Sounds great. OR would someone recommend me doing some intense 1:1 ABA with separate speech and occupational therapy. This will be very hard because I have a job and am not sure how I will be able to get him to all the therapies. But I just feel like right now is the time and I don't want to miss this window. I do have a flexible job and could do this but it would be hard. Any advise would be great. Thanks, ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
