I wasn't really even that winded. It's just so amazing to me how fit I have become from tae-bo. It truly is one of the most amazing workouts....making everything else seem almost easy. >> That is so great ! It is about time that you BRAG!!! LOL! That is an awesome brag! Guest guest
I did BL7 this morning and then went to the Y to do some weight lifting. Before I started lifting, I got on the treadmill and ran for 20 minutes (with a 5 minute cool down). I haven't done any running in about a year. Usually when I haven't run in a long time, I have to start off really slowly and build myself back up. I usually have to run about a 10 minute mile the whole time or I would get too winded. Well, today...I started off at a 10 minute mile, but was able to run most of the 2 1/2 miles at about 9 minutes...even running the last minute or two at an 8 minute mile. I also did some lifting and was able to start off exactly where I left off a year ago....even lifting more on some machines. Again, whenever I stopped lifting in the past...it was always such a struggle to get back into it and I'd have to start off lifting really light weights. But thanks to tae-bo....I was able to lift the same, if not more! I also practiced some tae-bo balance moves in front of the full length mirrors! Maybe I'll get some people to try out tae-bo...LOL! I'm definitely going to try to incorporate going to the Y at least 3 times a week. I think the running will also be a nice change of pace! who will let you all know how sore I am tomorrow...LOL!
