Squishes, Squashes, and Symmetry on Infiniti

Hello All,

Hope everyone had a good and safe Thanksgiving. I'm feeling lost doing this new work following the ABCD training protocols, partially due to not understanding them enough to implement and interpret, and difficulty with the settings on the training screens. What really are the differences between the squishes, the squashes, and the symmetry feedback work. What do these terms mean? Would Symmetry be the same as coherence?

In spite of my ignorance, I did get jumper cables and the software to do these things on Infiniti with 2 channels. Attempted to do a 2 channel windowed squash at 8-12 hz as per an ABCD protocol. The electrode set up I think was OK, but the confusing part was how to set the rewards and inhibits and making sense of what was on the screen.

Clicking on Channel C or D there are seperate low inhibit and high inhibit choices at the bottom right and left of the screen. Once one of these choices are made, then I was given the choice of low cut off frequency and high cut off frequency, or to do Both cut off frequency. I had never had such choices before and this was confusing. For an 8-12hz squash after I click the low inhibit for example, would I set only the both cut off frequency to 8hz and leave the low cut off and high cut off alone? What's the difference between the three choices in setting up a squash?

Also, the graph at the bottom had pink bars that would go up and down seemingly in a pattern by building up two to three steps and then back down to start again. This didn't appear to be labeled. What does this mean? The numbers on the left and right vertical axis were not labeled to know what they referred to.

Are there any resources to help with understanding and setting up these things? This is new and exciting territory for me and I need to understand it better for effective treatment. Thanks in advance to anyone that can explain these mysteries to me!!
