Well, actually FEAT-Houston’s focus is on ABA and ABA related topics.

For a city that has the largest pediatric hospital in the county, it’s

really surprising that there are no MDs in the central part of town who are

official DAN! Practitioners.

In addition to what’s already been posted:

I have heard that Dr. Frye at Memorial Hermann in the med center is

beginning to look at underlying metabolic issues and consulting with

Thoughtful House, but I don’t think he’s a DAN! Practitioner. I haven’t

heard from anyone who’s seen him yet, so no idea.

And a little while ago

Dr. Nomita Pothuluri; ; HYPERLINK

Posted that she was in the process of setting up a DAN! Practice in

Kingwood.

Dr. Caldwell follows Dr. Yasgo’s protocols which differ from DAN! I

believe.

Also Kuhn at HYPERLINK

" http://www.hiltonshearland.com " www.hiltonshearland.com is a DAN! Practioner

and has an O2 chamber at her practice. I know that she travels to work with

Dr. Cave in Baton Rouge part time too. She’s in the process of getting her

naturopath certification.

We never did the whole DAN! Thing—we went with the GFCF diet and used a

local naturopath (Andy Vorster of Natural Health Associates) who isn’t a

DAN! Practitioner and who uses muscle testing (rather than $$$ high lab

testing) to determine which supplements my son needed. She also did his

NAET for him, but she has a very long waiting list to get in (a year last

time I checked). She tends to refers children with autism to Kuhn.

The significant problems we have cannot be solved

at the same level of thinking with which we created them.

Unfortunately, I don't, maybe some listmates in Houston know some and

can post their contact information.
