I made a stimulating foot cream using 0.1% Menthol Crystals and 0.15%

Pepperment Oil. Wow did it feel good.

I've also used that ratio in a hair conditioner. Make your scalp

TINGLE.

I use them and love them. But it is my understanding that unless one has a

pharmaceutical license, we cannot go over 1.5% menthol in our recipes. I found

this out after I made a killer salve with 3%, just like what's found on the

shelves at the stores. 3% allows one to really feel that hot/ice effect more.

Now I'm working on trying to increase some of the other ingredients to get that

affect. I'll look forward to anymore suggestions that come.

Where do you get menthol crystals? Also, out of curiosity does

anyone know how to make a damaged hair conditioner? I am really just

considering buying some Aussie 3 minute miracle!!! Desperate!

BTW, my name is Tania, I have been making soaps and lotions for about

a year, I do it mainly for my own use, but I do have a website where

people can buy stuff...but mostly they don't. It's not searchable

(My main purpose was for the relatives.) Anyhow, I got this list

from another one, and it was given very high praise.
