I pray we do not sit and waitIn a state of anticipated predetermined FateFor it is a choice made to relinquishThat which becomes ours to finishEach, Masters of our own DestinyGuides of our spiritual alchemyI call to you to look withinAnd see there resides no "sin"Merely a myriad of choiceWhether we opt to celebrate and rejoiceOr prefer instead to find only eerie gloomOf our own self-directed dictated doomI plead with you to take your responsibilityAnd add only the best you can to create stabilityWithin our world and our present societyPlease, make it not one of simple proprietaryBut rather understand that thought and directionBecome instead of one of this life's hopeful resurrectionFor, indeed, the very thoughts we thinkAlso become the proverbial cups from which we drinkThat are those which we comprised and are now compiled into oneThese thoughts and desires are, frankly, universal, when all is said and doneThere are two states of being from which to choose to exist: love and fearDo you opt to be in sorrow and weep or do you prefer instead to celebrate and cheer?Behold before you the infinite world of that which is possibleI ask you to embrace what before you considered the improbableLook deeply within and without your beloved being into its LightWhere there you may surprisingly discover you have nothing left to fightFor here, within your soul, resides only love, hope and joyThen they can become your daily means to actualize peace and wholeness through their employAdd through freewill choice to the loving joyful spiritPlease, share your love freely; I pray, please, you don't fear itFor, as I see it, this selection to be made is yoursThat you may opt to open wide the doorsInto the essence of the deep self withinWhich is where we all must beginThat we may enact change in the vast and wide universeIn order to relieve the pain and sorrow with which we are too well-versedCopyright 2007 Alison of Humanity Healing
