Bill, are you saying they put the vapor retarder over the top..i.e. looks

neater?

Yep. With hundreds of square ft. of insulation looking back at the installer, the installer never noticed that virtually every batts vapor barrier said “install

facing ceiling”

I can relate. I wanted vapor retarder up because I thought it would keep

insulation cleaner.
