Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Me too. I think mine is sinus drainage more due to turning on the heaters and drying out the air than anything else right at the moment. Although, I did have a cold virus a couple of weeks ago, and haven't ever completely cleared out from that. I guess my point is that this time of year it could be so many things. Try using a dehumidifier at night where you sleep. Also, try an OTC decongestant and see if treating the symptoms helps. Hope you feel better soon! Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Unless you have other reflux symptoms my guess would be allergies if you have them. I was having a lot of drainage after being sick recently and used Mucinex for a while. I think it helped with the mucus. > > Hi all, > > Lately I've been experiencing some phlegm in throat is this a sign of > my reflux playing up or is it an asthma attack coming on? > > Regards > Sharon >
Guest guest
It sounds like thicken sinus drainage to me. I " ve got same thing. Take an antihistime to control drainage. you may need to see an allergiest and have testing done. to get things totally under control. My allergist told me I was allergic to things in the air like pollon , dust, molds ect... and he put me on shots and daily antihistime. Does it interfer with your breathing? What meds are you on? becky > > Hi all, > > Lately I've been experiencing some phlegm in throat is this a sign of > my reflux playing up or is it an asthma attack coming on? > > Regards > Sharon >

Guest guest
Sharon- this is usually sinus drainage /post-nasal drip coming down from above, but can lead to asthma attacks AND reflux. The extra mucuous can play havoc on both. You may want to try a sinus rinse like NealMed and/ or something like Mucinex to thin out the mucuous. At least IMHO :-) Good luck!
