I've always been allergic to cats and recently started dating a guy with 2 of them.Apparently, I now have cat-induced asthma. My allergist said that each exposure puts me at risk for developing full blown asthma.I'm wondering if I take Singulair and have no allergy symptoms when around the cats while on that, am I still at risk for developing worse asthma? And what about allergy shots? If I do those and they help with the allergies, could my asthma still be getting worse with each exposure? Thanks,
