Guest guest
I went to the Temple Lung Center yesterday. My doctor tells me that my high IGE levels are related to Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis which is a hypersensitivity reaction to Aspergillus fumigatus that occurs almost exclusively in patients with asthma. It is often misdiagnosed. I never heard of it until 3 years ago. Be aware that is a possibility. I wish I had known about it when I first got sick and then maybe it wouldn’t have caused damage to my lung. Once you get it levels out but doesn’t go away. I have had asthma since childhood, but thought I basically outgrew it until this happened. Watch out for molds and damp days. Take care and happy holidays to all.
