Guest guest
A friend of mine just called to warn us that if we see squinting, putting hands over eyes, pillows over the head etc. that we should check zinc levels. Turns out Dr. Shaw has been testing kids to find that only about 50% of our kids have a zinc deficiency, and too much zinc can cause the above, it did in my friends kid. She has also received emails from parents following the protocol where you stop supplementing zinc during chelation days, and they are seeing the same problems. For those of you that were retaining water during pregnancy, and told to drink more water, apparently zinc works the same way. Because of stopping the zinc, then giving high doses, then stopping again, the body it holding on to too much zinc. My friend is now giving low doses every day and the problem has disappeared. Just thought you should know.
