What many fail to grasp and then hold on to is the reality that with these difficulties and challenges comes such gifts. Yes, gifts. The gift of difficulty will show you who you really are. It will give you an entirely new way of thinking about yourself in relationship to the universe. It gives us the impetus we often need to search out the very purpose that is the gift that connects to us to each and every one of our days, meaningfully despite difficulty or challenge. Embrace that which is difficult and challenging in your life. Welcome it in. It is opportunity knocking on your door. Don't leave it out in the cold. Join in the living day, every day.
