Guest guest
Just found yet another deer tick in the same spot as last year. I have been on Augmentin for over a week due to a sinus infection, should this cover the limes disease. I have the bulls eye and the other symptoms, Does this crap every stop? Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much. ~Mother Teddy Bear's Early Learning ProgramEstablished August of 1992 From: asthma [mailto:asthma ] On Behalf Of Anita WSent: Saturday, July 05, 2008 3:25 PMTo: asthma Subject: Re: Re: steroids I should qualify that I am right now reacting to almost every med. Was on solumederol in the hospital but still ended up ill from it. Ended up ill from Augmentin last week. Part of my unknown disease process right now is that my body is in this attack mode against itself. I seem to be doing ok with the inhaled drugs, as far as reacting anyway, but theydo not seem to help the overall inability to heal. I am going to go out boating. Honestly, can't breathe here or there, so I might as well enjoy the lake! Monday..if I can make it through..hopefully some answers start arriving! have a great day, thanks for the advice!Anita Re: steroidsYou may want to ask for a different steroid than prednisone. I'm one of the few people allergic to prednisone, but I can take Medrol (methylprednisolone). Just a thought! There's another one too -- Dexa-something. They can also IV or give you a shot of Solumedrol. Good luck and take care!!Kathleen>> thanks for letting me stay. I am able to put the panic on hold until I am alone..then the questions just roar. knowing I have atleast two days to talk to the dr is hard. I am very uncontrolled under my meds right now, I am on the hard hitters, max of advail 50-500, and spiriva, and I cant breathe. I know I need prednisone, but I react to it everytime, so its almost not an option.> Honestly without this group to post to, I would be more insane.I havent been here too long but feel like I am getting to know some of the people, and it is great to feel that support, especially this weekend with my worries. So Thank you! I do appreciate it.> Anita> > ------------------------------------
Guest guest
make sure you go the doctor and let them know, one of my co-workers got a bullseye and she ended up started to feel paralysis in her face, ended up in the hospital on meds to get the infection out. don't want that horrible rippling effect. Guest guest
No way are you serious? GERD causes that? I've had GERD for years, it doesn't do it all the time but did notice it did it today after I ate lunch. Well isn't that something. Thanks for that tidbit! Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle.
