Film featuring young man w/DS

I wanted to pass this information to you because I think that it is a great

cause. Rapid Eye Productions is making a film that features a young man with DS.

They are raising money to pay for this film because it is an independant

production. Please read the following and be sure to visit their web site! They

out.

As you may know, we're in the process of raising money to make ONE

DAY, a

feature film about a young man with Down syndrome who's determined to

find the

" perfect " husband for his stubborn single mom.

HERE'S WHAT'S NEW:

You can now DONATE in the HONOR of SOMEONE YOU LOVE and have their

name listed

next to yours in our online credits - For example, " Donna in

honor of

, her amazing son. " The credits will appear on our website in

the coming

weeks (you'll be notified when they do). You'll get your own line in

the credits

and can be listed any way you want with up to 65 characters. For more

We feel this will emphasize the community of support that's starting

to build

around our film and give our donors (and the people they love) the

recognition

they all deserve.

IN RESPONSE to all the phone calls and emails we've received, here

are some

ANSWERS TO THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS:

- You can donate everything from $1.00 on up.

- You can donate online, by fax, phone, or mail. Your choice.

- If we don't raise enough money to make the film, we'll donate the

money in a

2-way split to:

The Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles (DSALA) and the Down

Syndrome

Association of Houston (DSAH).

- During fundraising, all the money you donate is being held in

escrow by an

independent third

party. When we reach our goal, it will be released to the company.

Until

then, we don't have

ANY access to it.

- When you donate online, Rapid Eye Productions does NOT have access

to your

credit card

information. We have a merchant account that handles these

transactions for

us and they do not

pass this information onto us. That gives you an extra layer of

security

(our connection

is also secure; all info is encrypted via SSL).

- We just finished renovating (completely redoing) our web site to

make it
