I have diabetes on top of the asthma, plus I'm allergic to a couple of meds. I wear a Medic Alert bracelet at all times. I also got one for my mom and brother who both have diabetes and other problems. I don't care who knows it and the look doesn't bother me. You really should wear something. It could save your life. I don't work for them at all but I like Medic Alert myself. You have your emblem of course, and they keep computer records of all your conditions and medications, plus a list of people to call, doctors and family members, in case something happens to you. The website is www.medicalert.org

God bless you!

I heard about those, it might benefit you since it seems you struggle with your asthma and your heart condition.

Do any of you wear these? I have a heart condition, very low bp, of courseasthma and a few other things and had a necklace made with all this engravedon the back but don't want to draw attention to myself so I haven't put iton yet. I need to get over that part of it and just wear it, it could savemy life somedayTerry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that Hedidn't trust me so much. ~Mother Teddy Bear's Early Learning ProgramEstablished August of 1992____________ _________ _________ _________No viruses found in this outgoing messageScanned by iolo AntiVirus 1.5.3.5http://www.iolo. com

That's where I ordered mine from. It's on a nice rope necklace and it's in the shape of a heart and the emblem doesn't stand out in red but you know it's a medical alert item. I am wearing it, now to get use to wearing a necklace at all times. I only wear necklaces and earrings to church, Dates with dh and special occasions. Thanks ! I'm so glad I joined this group!

I'm allergic to nickel but the stainless steel bracelet is not a problem for me at all.

God bless you!

I was going to order the bracelet but with my skin, I can only have 14K gold and it is sooo expensive. I am trying to save up to get one someday. Just wear your necklace inside your top.

You're welcome. That's what we are here for. I enjoy getting others' input on treatments and how they care for themselves. Since I wear my watch on my left arm, I put the bracelet on my right. I get aggravated with it sometimes when I'm writing, but I deal with it. I rattles against the desks and tables at school, so it irritates people around me but they understand it's needed.

God bless you!

I have a Medic Alert bracelet that I wear all the time. I want to make

sure that if there is an emergency, the docs will know what to look

for and what to stay away from. I am allergic to latex, dairy,

peanuts, potatoes, soy (among a few others that aren't life

threatening). I take alot of meds also. I love my husband, but I don't

want to completely depend on him remembering these things. Plus, he

isn't always available and I am often by myself. I did make an index

card with all my allergies and both of our meds that he carries in his

wallet. I also have one in mine.

I get a new one every now and then. I generally stick with the basic

version and change up the colors.

For those who are allergic....they have those nylon sports ones where

there isn't any metal touching your skin. They come in a variety of

designs and colors.
