Guest guest
I'm curious about this link to retina cells and proEFA. I'm not expecting anything from this link, but would like to know more about it. Why?- because my son is blind from a congenital disease that affects his retina. He had an ERG a year and a half ago that determined no functioning of his rods and cones. We see that he has minimal vision, probably light with possible object and shadow perception. But I would love to know about this retina cells link that I've only seen mentioned briefly in regards to proEFA. I started my son on efalex yesterday as it was the only one I could find yesterday. LOL His babbling is extremely noticeable and last night he said *nut nut* for night night, totally unprompted. He has no real words currently. Like all of you have mentioned he has said plenty of words, once. At 5-6 months he even combined some words. I find it interesting that the babbling is so noticeable. I was still reading thru the posts on proEFA last night and his babbling was so constant and unusual that I actually recorded him on the computer. Keeping fingers crossed but trying to not count chickens yet. Lynn Austin 27 months (LCA)
