Be cautious about relying on the blood test alone

I just wanted to relate briefly our experience with the fatty acid

test the Dr. Kane and others are referring to. We had it done three

times over the course of two years and each time there were extreme

internal contradictions in the test results. One page would say to

give my son x for a deficiency and then two pages later the test

would indicate that we should in no way give my son x because of an

excess of it in his blood.

I am not saying the supplements, at least the right ones, don't

alleviate symptoms. I do think parents are the most astute observers

of their children, and if they (and others) are seeing improvements

after giving the pro-efa, their anecdotal accounts are probably more

important than anything else.

I am saying, be cautious about relying on the blood test alone,

because in our case it proved problematic. -
