Other times, he would say it and look at everyone who was within earshot, to see if he got a " rise " out of anyone! The behavior was then reinforced when some of his brother's friends started giggling, which made it worse! Since being on this new med, Trileptal, he is much more calmer and is much more compliant.....but, you never know when the " word " will come up again. I think the bus people should ignore it and carry on.....your child knows it bothers them!

DH says it never fails, the stuff you don't want them to say is what comes out most legible and clear as a bell.......you can't mistake " fork " for " F " with , especially when he adds " you " .....LMAO... Guest guest
Tonight, after putting Jack's brother to bed who by the way cries for 25 min. still sometimes. 's room is right next to Jack's. So I read Jack some books and he likes it when I lay on the floor next to his toddler bed until he falls asleep which usually takes 5 min. So we are laying there and I could tell with all 's crying that Jack was getting irritated, as was I. Jack blurted out " Oh Dammit! " Which was a expression of irritation that he could not sleep with all the noise. I have to say although it is a bad word I did not say anything except to smile. I was so focused on the right context he used it in and the way he said it with an irritation in his voice that I found it hard to tell him that it is a bad word. I guess I will save it for another day. The funny thing is I may use some whopper foul words, that is 1 that I never have used neither does my husband. Besides when I swear I usually spell the word. Just thought it was funny! Eileen
Guest guest
My husband and I have always joked that we would be the first parents to compliment our daughter if she started cussing. Oh honey, that is a good " sh " sound! Sweetie, what a good " f " sound you made!
