Check out the financial information two of the best known ME/CFS

organizations recently filed with the IRS. This is a great way to learn

where their money is coming from, and how it is being spent.

The CFIDS Association of America has its Form 990 for 2006 at:

http://www.cfids.org/about/2006-990.pdf

The National CFIDS Foundation has its form 990 for 2005 at:

http://www.ncf-net.org/pdf/2005-990.pdf

It's unknown why its form 990 for 2006 isn't on the Web site.

Forms 990 provide a window into the health and operations of

organizations exempt from federal income tax, which is one reason the

law requires that they be open for public inspection - although there

is no legal requirement to put them up on the organization's Web site.
