Guest guest
QUOTE FROM http://www.visualizationworks.com/featureseasalt.htm This person grew up in Portugal; one would think she would have a good chance of knowing of any scams there: Celtic Sea Salt actually stabilises blood pressure. Why? Because it is the primary plaque cleanser of our veins and arteries, keeping all the pipes clean so to speak. It scours the artery walls and cleans out the oily cholesterol residue creating excellent circulation. Here’s what I recommend…What I do is drink at least 2 litres of water a day with up to half a teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt each day, under the tongue. This is crucial so that that the salt can distribute throughout the body. In addition to the half a teaspoon (take a number of pinches of salt throughout the day), I also only use it in my cooking. It has served as a fantastic weight loss agent and has improved my digestion, my skin, and my energy levels not to mention with this salt, there is absolutely no water retention. A miracle for me because all I needed was a small bowl of salty pretzels to make me wake up like a puffy balloon in the morning! It has been know to stimulated the thyroid gland due to the iodine trace mineral content. It can clam down the nervous system immeasurably because the trace minerals work with all the glands including the adrenal gland, which manages our "fight or flight response."It makes allot of sense to me because as a person that grew up by the ocean in Portugal, Brazil and in Mexico, I never experienced any digestion issues, or weight issues, or bloating, or hypertension. It was only when I moved north that that occurred. I am a firm believer in the research I have found regarding the Celtic Sea Salt . I say try it and love it.Where to find it.You can get it at many health food stores but make sure that it is wet and grey. I also recommend the "Fleur de Sel" (Flower Of The Ocean Celtic Salt) which is the highest in mineral content salt. It is known as the feminine salt as it balances hormones. It is a little lighter in colour. It is the most tasty, a little more expensive but also works on the entire endocrine system thus balancing so many aspects of the body.I recommend calling the Grain Of Salt Educational Society, which is what I did. They will send you free literature, and free samples of the different salts. They are in Tara, Ontario and are super friendly and informative. Their number is 1-. Their email address is celtsalt@... Their address is 28 Yonge Street, Tara, Ontario, N0H 2N0.AND From the environmentally protected salt marshes of southern portugal, a region that supplied salt to the entire world in ancient times. Except for a few salt farms in Portugal and some in Morocco, the only coastline that is still relatively unpolluted and whose cottage industry is thriving is the Brittany coast. The Grain and Salt Society selected Brittany as the least polluted seacoast and the Celtic method as the best for harvesting of natural salt for the following reasons:1) This coastline has almost no industry and no large cities. 2) The prevalent wind dries and crystallizes the salt very rapidly, thus minimizing the accumulation of particulate matter. 3) The deep offshore drop and continental shelf create upwellings that bring minerals from great ocean depths. The resulting salt contains rare trace elements in a very energetic mix. 4) There are abundant and varied beds of seaweeds and micro-algae that contribute to the biologically rich make-up of the shore, and therefore of the salt. 5) The art of Celtic salt-making has been passed down in this place for literally a hundred generations offering a superior philosophy and mastery of the craft. Guest guest
Hi, further to this informative and very factual post from Rowena, anyone wondering further about the superb quality of Celtic Sea Salt can, on request from the Grain and Salt Society, acquire full laboratory analysis of their Celtic Sea Salt. I called my HFS after reading this post and they do have a bag of Celtic Salt by the grain and salt society and they are holding it for me. It doesnt have the same name but it does have their name on it so I feel it would be of good quality. I plan to try it and wish I could give it to my cats who both have thyroid problems and tumors. I have no vested interest in this company; the Celtic Sea Salt was forcibly brought to my attention by two different healers who recommended it for their clients and thus caused me to look and evaluate it closely. It is now my salt of choice, I like to think this is an informed decision and not one emotionally made. Calm as my nature usually is, one thing that can get my ire up is people disseminating inaccurate and potentially damaging information, even if it is done out of ignorance (referring to the person who wrote to Curezone). Guest guest
I woke up early this morning with salt on my mind, knowing that I need to start taking some again, with no inkling of why except to prevent parasites from arising again and to increase energy, particularly mental energy, which it most definitely will do. So my question, especially to Taffy, is this- I have some Lima Fleur-de-sel, harvested by hand on the coast of Belgium. This salt is packed in a glass, still wet. Is this good enough?
