June, had complained various times about an headache,

intermittent vomiting and general lethargy. We took her various times

for doctors appointments. The diagnosis ranged from dehydration to

stomach gas to possible mono. Blood work was done each time, which had

inconclusive results.July 16th we took her to the doctor again

with the same complaints, she was prescribed antibiotics. July 17th,

she had an immediate facial droop and was taken to the ER. She had a

CAT scan that revealed an 3.5cm brain tumor. She was immediately taken

to Children's Hospital where she was admitted to the ICU. She then

underwent a crainiotomy with removal of 90% of the brain tumor. After

waiting an excrutiating 14 days, we received an diagnosis. She has

Brain Cancer of ATRT. She will undergo 52 (at least) weeks of

Chemotherapy and Radiation. She will be hospitalized every two weeks

during this time for 6 days of in-patient therapy. This starts the 15th

of August.It is now the 18th of August and we have had four

surgeries now and two days of Chemo. has proved to keep us busy

with different ailments and things not going "textbook." If she could

progress, we will be on track and be on week two of 53, very shortly.
