Guest guest
Lori - you need to get more specific information on the tests they ran to determine " which " amino acids they are referring to so you may address and supplement. They are lots and lots of them! You are correct that amino acid levels may reflect on low muscle tone as " amino acids are proteins found in every tissue in the body and nearly every role in the body process. " Symptoms such as abnormal behavior, hyperactivity, disorientation, depression, seizure activity, intestinal dysfunction can be traced back to insufficient amounts of various amino acids. " A couple of examples. One amino acid, alpha-ketoglutaric acid, is helpful for many to improve " brain fogginess " and removing ammonia. Another, taurine, has been labeled the " brain amino acid " by some in the medical community and helps with nourishing the brain cells, stabilizing brain cell membranes, and helps the neurotransmmitters promote thinking ability. " Just a couple of examples, as amino acids is a long college course in and of itself! And, I haven't passed it yet!
