Hello Everybody,

As I write this email...,I..am. relieved,as u all r,to note..,..that the hostage

drama..in Mumbai..has finally ended...and life hopefully,is returning to

normal...at this point of time..

But,yes..although..we have..finally managed..to annihilate..those...dreaded

men,we have miserably failed..in our efforts..to

save...150+civilians...and..some really wonderful men..in

uniform..and..plus..the crores..of money..down the

drain..in..gutted...rooms,buildings...cars...etc etc..and the costs..of keeping

these..Elite Forces..at the scene..of..the incident...

It is sad,that..our..Intelligence.network...,.haven't..come..up..to it's

potential,..inspite of we, being..surrounded..by...hostile nations...from all

the corners....

I think,it needs..to be dismantled..and fresh...plans,tactics..and..management

needs to be instilled..

Atleast some heads..should roll...

Some should sincerely take up the blame...

On that note,I also..feel,the..TV channels.....by bringing these...hostage

dramas..and LIVE gory details...into the living room,have not

only...caused..tragedy..but...also brought about immense..tension..by the

minute,...trying...to weave up imaginative tales...of the secretive

operations..of the task forces..within..

I feel,there should be a blanket ban..on reporting of such..LIVE Covert

missions...and stories..like they...do,in some of these..countries,out

here...,..and only after once..they have been successfully completed...should

the media..be permitted to make..a story of sorts..

On that note....,as we pray for the departed souls..and homage to the men in

uniform,I can't but feel angered,that..when a mere..compensation...of

Rs.5Lakhs..gets awarded..to the kin..of the deceased..,who guard our

homeland..each single minute..and give..us..immense..joy of security,we..the

nation of billions..r happy to spend..Crores..on sports personalities..,cine

actors..who..never..deliver..more than 3 hrs..of make believe joy,once in 6-8

months...

Sad...reminder..of times..we all live in....
