Hi Alison,

Hope if it's OK if I jump in here to answer even though I'm not Jill -

and then I'm running out again too! (I don't know how the weather is

for the rest of you but it is absolutely gorgeous out here today!!!)

DSI is another acronym for SID, or Sensory Integration Dysfunction.

DSI stands for Dysfunction of Sensory Integration -here is just one

site that describes it http://www.sinetwork.org/whatisdsi.htm . SID

is not used as much because of the confusion with Sudden Infant Death

Syndrome (SIDS)

Well -I'm going back out to soak up the sun!!

This is so strange I am currently babysitting a 2 1/2 year old who was just

found to have DSI/pdd and now I noticed the list subjects. I am confused

cause this child has a high vocabulary? He does bite, pinch, you bad words,

pushed he has all the signs except the speech disorder. His behavior is out

of control would proefa help calm him down? He is currently out of a daycare

cause of the bitting and was told to his mother this is best by his

therpist.

Diane.....Mom, taxi, coach, friend, and referee,

too 17, 15, 13, 11

10,

There is a special place in Heaven for mom's of Boys
