Hi Loreen- I'm behind in catching up with my e-mail, but a childhood dz. after puberty is a luetic phenomenon. Consider treating the miasm down the line, but drain her for a good while first. Be cautious with your treatments, especially high potencies of homeopathics, as luetics often have paradoxical reactions. Maybe look at other energetic therapies as well (flower essences, reiki etc).

Q: Amenorrhea, C. difficile and chickenpox at menarche> > > > > Hi Everyone. I need some ideas for this difficult case.I have been treating a 28 year old woman for just over a year while she recovered from C. difficile infection. This has cleared up very well, and she hasn't had diarrhea for many months and has gained all her weight back.About 7 months ago, she stopped BCP after many years. She has not had a period since. She has always had a very irregular period, often skipping several months then having a long, heavy and painful menses.

We have done seed and oil cycling for months, with the hormonal homeopathics for each phase of the moon, as well as a variety of female tonics. Nothing is having much of an effect. Last month she did get PMS and a feeling of heaviness in her uterus, but no period. These symptoms got worse and worse until I gave her some heavy doses of emmenoguge herbs and lycopodium 30C. She did have a couple hours of spotting after that, and some relief of her symptoms, but nothing since. One interesting piece of history is that she had chicken pox at menarche, which was very severe. She remembers high fever, welts and blisters and being sick for weeks. She was about 13 and a half when this happened. The chicken pox started first, then her first period a few days later.Other history of note is that she has an extremely difficult relationship with her mother - extremely critical and unsupportive of her lifestyle

choices (she wanted to be a professional musician and studied music in university rather than something more career oriented). I know the relationship with her mother is a piece of the puzzle, but she is unwilling to do counselling right now. I have given her nat mur 200C in the past which has helped many symptoms. But what about the chicken pox? I know it is part of the puzzle too, but no idea how to treat it. Any ideas?Loreen Dawson, NDSechelt, BCFamily Medicine > > > > > > > _________________________________________________________________> The best games are on Xbox 360. Loreen-Consider using a 200K dose of Leusinum every other Sunday, with a temperament remedy 1X/month and low dose symptomatic remedies on alternating weekdays. You may also use ascending doses of Variolinum (chicken pox nosode) to allow the body to slowly recognize and clear the energetic imbalance that took hold when she had the disease at 13 yo.

Just a few ideas...let us know how it works out.
