Guest guest
Speaking of paradoxical reactions, why besides having a luetic miasm, do people react opposite to herbs etc. I was treating a slightly neurotic patient expressing with high stress, nervous reactive symptoms. " stressy feeling " as she called it, felt creepy crawly. She had tried calming herbs and sleep herbs in the past but they had the opposite affect. Revved her up or no affect. She is also very sensitive to many rx drugs. I did an ASI and her night time cortisol was very high, with suppressed morning cortisol, after being on Rhodiola for years (high potent brand as well) I had her use Seriphos and it completely revved her up with insomnia and palpitation and high blood pressure (which she was normally medicated for the BP) to the point where she went to the hospital. Just curious as to why people react this way. It has to be more than a liver issue. I tried her on NS undas 2 drops 2x a day, but after one dose said she couldnt tolerate the alcohol. Just curious as to these type of reactions and how others may proceed. Thanks ND Seattle --- " C. P.
