Guest guest
Dear Group, Have spent a lot of time researching Lyme, talking to different practitioners about their approaches and talking with patients on various naturopathic protocols. I am curious about the emotional aspects of the disease, the way many of these patients have become attached to the idea of 'killing the spirochetes' and the mental fog and heaviness they feel. I would like to start a dialogue with anyone who feels like they have had good results with specific mental/emotional approaches to these patients. And perhaps some conversation about the HERX reaction - is this real or a result of heavy antiviral meds (like Cat's Claw). I have been working with one patient on strengthening his metal element, guided imagery invoking his internal warrior in addition to an UNDA protocol, IV therapy and high dose antivirals. Anyone have any interesting anecdotes to add about what they think is going on with Lyme? What is this disease indicative of? Anthroposophy perspective? Thanks in advance, Jennings ND, MSOM
