Hi folks,

I have a good friend in Portland who needs some help and not sure

where to send her besides Dr Thom's shift at NCNM. She actually

lives right across the street from the clinic and has no car, pretty

low income too.

My plight is this, she is such a sweet person, 39 yo caucasian F,

always doing for others, but gets severe bronchitis and what appears

to be colds, flu and asthma like ssx all winter. Its hard to try and

treat/help her from out state and being a close friend and all.

Very basically, she has had " weak lungs " her whole life and was born

with pneumonia, been dx with asthma which are worse with inhalers and

suffers tremendously with severe cough and mucus about 4 months of

the year, every year. She also has some sort of genetic bone or

structure disorder that presents similar to Marie-Toothe syndrome but

has never been dx. (She has very long bones and facial structure with

week arches and ankles). Slightly resmebles Marfan's to me. She has

seen Dr DeLapp and Ambrose and others at NCNM clinics and Western

States for basic triage but has not received long term relief. I

would love to refer her to someone in the area, perhaps a student on

DTs shift that can work on her likley miasmatic cause and from a

drainage perspective. She is very compliant, hopeful yet wary and

just does not have much extra income at present. Thanks for any

ideas everyone.
