Guest guest
I am new here so I will start with a little background about me. I was just diagnosed with asthma this past May. My doctor put me on Advair 250, singulair 10mg and proair for my rescue medicine. I had been doing very well with this. So well that the last time I seen the doctor he lowered the Advair to 100. I have not started the 100 yet because I am in the middle of the 250 disc. So on to my question. For about the past two weeks I have had a lot of nasal congestion, more than usual. I am not sleeping well at night and I wake up every morning short of breath. Last night when my husband got up to go to work I was up with him watching the Lightning show. (I love storms) Anyways all of a sudden I started coughing bad and feeling short of breath. The breathing cleared up in about five minutes on it's own, but the coughing hung on for a little while. I have even been coughing all morning long. I am scared to start the new script. If this happening now, will it get worse when I start taking the lower dose?? Any ideas on what I can do to make things better at night?
