Guest guest
Hi, I know you know your pharmaceuticals, Garnet ... but mine clearly is labeled as 10% Iodine. How do they get by with deceptive % labeling, or can it vary by state requirements? This is Nebraska. (I'm a lazy lawyer !!!)(Actually trying to relax from a very stressful case ... and hate to exercise the brain right now... am in for brain & energy " R & R " .. nothing too strenuous! It is not labeled with decimals or I'd figure that I was slipping a decimal, (or something ), but clear " 10% " . ???? Guest guest
Is it Betadine Solution or Betadine Surgical Scrub? Guest guest
I am checking over my bottle now as I look for any indication of " active " or some other type of minimizing ... nothing on it. The Label starts out with NDC0603-1550 -56 at the very top, then in BIG letters is " POVIDONE IODINE 10% SOLUTION " . The fine print with warnings, indications, and administration, seems to point primarily to pre-op prepping, treatment of all sorts of things, not to allow it to pool under patient etc. The company is Qualitest Pharmaceuticals of Huntsville, AL. So, maybe Alabama & Nebraska aren't so strict or the labeling is still " off " somehow to show actual strength.
